Looking for insight from Tampa homers. Any idea if Reid Brignac is headed to the big leagues any time soon?

He is at least a year away. Lets see him dominate AA like he did Single A last year. ;-D

Too bad... need some of my potential keeper studs to start rolling into the majors.

He is the best SS prospect in the minors. Andrus isn't far behind.

^^^ Is this statement made with Brandon Wood considered a 3B or do you think Brignac's better than Wood?

If Wood moves back to SS, then he is #1. But until then Brignac is #1 at SS.

Wood would be the #1 SS, but he is definitely going to be staying at 3rd. The Angels just have too much better defensive talent at the SS position in the minors to keep Wood there.

Other question in regards to Brignac is whether or not he stays at shortstop. He's growing into a pretty tall and lanky individual. May be better suited elsewhere.

Briggs doesnt exactly have that great of range and glove at that position either. it wouldn't shock me if he moves eventualy.

they got somewhat of a mess with longoria too because Iwarma is at the hot corner...

will be interesting to unfold.
