When is he supposed to return. Last I read it was early this week. Any other sources confirm this?

I read that it was supposed to be sometime during the TB series, which starts today.

He hit off a tee yesterday, and should take batting practice today. He hopes to be back Wednesday or Thursday.

I think Sportsline said he should probably start playing for real around Friday.

Now I'm reading that he may need an extra week. Any truth to that?

I should never have drafted a catcher in the middle rounds!

Pudge, Piazza, Barrett.... DAMN DAMN DAMN! That was my short venting...

I hope he takes his time coming back. None of us Hernandez owners need him going back to the DL with a majot pull or tear in the oblique. That would shut him down for 2 months! He could also come back sooner and put up some crappy numbers from being rusty. I would tend to agree with the move if the Orioles decide to send him on a rehad assignment... He could take some good swings, get his timing back and then put up the big early season numbers we expected to get this April.... In May!

Trying to be optimistic, after an immature vent :-B

I read about a week, too. He has to go on a rehab assignment. Showed up to the park sore yesterday.

Catching is so weak in my league and I have been starting Yadier Molina and no one else better out there. Getting no production from that spot at all.

Anybody? I have four pitchers on the DL and only one DL spot, so I'm really hurting.
