When is he slated to return? I know it's supposed to be this week, but is it the 1st or 2nd series of the week?

He was put on the DL on the 8th. So he won't be back until next week at the earliest.

his hamstring seems to be feeling better by the day so he`ll be back on the active roster by next week.

according to all the NY sports talk radio, Hideki will start the first day he is eligible to be back. They were extra cautious on putting him on the DL after Damon pulled his hammy and with all the cold weather in NY.
