Nice to see there are plenty of others that have the fantasy baseball itch already. I'm going to start up a Yahoo league and am looking for owners who are interested in maintaining a team through beyond the first three weeks of the season. Ideally I'd like it to be a keeper league. However, the current parameters will be:
Stats kept on Yahoo!
12 teams (7 already in)
Auto draft in mid March used
30 man rosters
22 starters (4SP, 2RP, 3P, 2C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CIF, MIF, 4OF, U)
6x6 roto head-to-head (the 5x5 basics plus two TBD)
Free league --- however personal pride will be at stake
10 holdovers for next season
As I said before, I want this to be a free keeper league. If you do not want to be active, good luck in your other league, but stay out of mine. But, if you don't mind keeping up with your team, actively participating in trade talk, or chatting about how you lambasted your opponent from weeks ago, we'd be glad to have you. Email me, but include "Fantasy Baseball" in the subject.

Just works out better for a few of us who have hectic schedules. Agreed, a live draft is a great time. Its just that for a few of us, its easier to assemble the team this way.
Granted, that sounds like a few GMs that will stop being active after spring training, but I did football with 'em. We didn't stop squawking until after the playoffs.
