Vladimir Guerrero is expected back in the lineup on Friday after suffering a sort tissue contusion on Monday.

Heard on local radio today that he was cleared by the doc to resume baseball activities Friday at the earliest, depending on how it feels. Hopefully, it feels good.

Earlier in the week, doc had cleared him to swing a bat on friday and Scoscia was hoping that as well. He just went to a hand specialist Thursday so I don't know how hopeful I am for today or even this weekend.

I benched him today because I didn't know if he'd play, and he's already 3-for-3 with a homer and another run scored.
