"Actually he feels much better than he could have been," manager Mike Scioscia said. "We're very encouraged. Hopefully, he'll be ready to go Friday." Reggie Willits started in his place tonight and likely will do the same on Wednesday. The Angels are off Thursday.Apr. 17 - 10:21 pm et
Heard on local radio today that he was cleared by the doc to resume baseball activities Friday at the earliest, depending on how it feels. Hopefully, it feels good.
News: Angels outfielder Vladimir Guerrero flew back to Los Angeles on Wednesday to be examined by a hand specialist. Guerrero left Monday's game in Boston after getting hit on the right wrist by a pitch from Josh Beckett. X-rays were negative, but Guerrero continued to experience discomfort.
Analysis: Guerrero leads the Angels with a .364 batting average, three homers and 12 RBI in 13 games. He is a must-start when healthy. Track his progress over the weekend before making a roster decision for Fantasy Week 4 (April 23-29).

Earlier in the week, doc had cleared him to swing a bat on friday and Scoscia was hoping that as well. He just went to a hand specialist Thursday so I don't know how hopeful I am for today or even this weekend.
