I'm in D.C. and it wasn't too bad. It poured yesterday but today it didn't rain much and was just windy.

Better yet, shouldn't we all be going after Al Gore for inventing it?

It was actually forecasted to be an El Nino year here on the West Coast and yet in Southern California, we're seeing one of our driest wet seasons here in quite a while (talks about drought are mentioned every now and then these days). This coming off of a wet season two years ago which was one of the rainiest in the L.A. area's history. The weather forecasters really messed up on this one. !+)

Oh dear, would you look at that, the worst we have to brace is low clouds and fog. B-)

El Niño is historically a rather mild weather phenomenon; it was just the one from 1997-98 that was particularly strong and brought the term into the lexicon. Otherwise it's been happening every few years without too much noticeable effect.

And thanks to Chris Farley, we all know that El Niño is Spanish for... The Niño!

Check out some storm pics from RI and Southeastern Massachusetts
It's still cloudy, dreary and cold here and it's been this way since Sunday.
