NO NO NO!

Best baseball game ever is Ken Griffey Jr Baseball for Super Nintendo!

the first one, the second one wasnt nearly as good

remember, all the teams ha different player names, like the Red Sox had people from the Revolutionary War as the names.

i love that game!
i should never have gotten rid of my super nintendo :,-(

Best console Baseball game...World Series Baseball II for the Sega Saturn, IMO. Interface of pitching and fielding and hitting was outstanding, You did not have this nonsense now where you have boxes and circles for hot zones of the hitters and pointed to where you wanted to throw the ball on the pitching while your opponent is looking at what you ware doing. In this game, you picked the pitch and if it was a curve, you had to push the stick with certain pressure in a certain direction and at a certain time/release point to get the ball to break. Each pitcher had different pitches and you could actually get used to pitching certain pitchers becuase you knew the type of stuff they had and what you had to do to get the ball to break over the corner, etc. Very nice. Only one flaw was that starters seemed to tire too soon and start to get rocked. But other than that it was great. Then the current/modern interface came along with these idiotic on screen boxes and dots and red zones and ruined everything, IMO.

Is All-Star the best GM baseball video game? To be honest I enjoy the Dynasty modes and GM stuff a lot more fun than actually playing the game. I have MVP for PS2 and its pretty good gameplay but stats are way out of whack and it has no fantasy draft. :-t :-t :-t

I have MVP Baseball 2003 for PC. The franchise mode sucks, but the gameplay is quite fun for me. What difficulty settings did y'all use?

And if a basketball fan, Double Dribble or Arch Rivals ;-D ;-D

Can't forget about the Tecmo Football series either for football.

New games pale in comparison IMO!!

GOD YES!!!!!!!

Arch Rivals was/is the greatest basketball game of all time.

Some others:

Hockey -- Blades of Steel, NES
Baseball -- World Series Baseball, Sega
