My son wants me to buy him a baseball game for his playstation 2. Please help me: what is better Allstar baseball 2004 or High Heat baseball 2004. I know that this is a strange post but who else can I turn to.
Personally, I like All-Star because of its in-depth dynasty mode. It's got everything including the Winter Meetings and the Rule-5 Draft. The downside is that gameplay itself is not as good as High Heat.

so i guess i have another question off of this. if mvp doesnt shape up for next year then what is the best baseball video game out their?
I have MVP 2003 for PC, and it is horrid. The game is way too easy, errors are non-existent, and you can trade up (IE trade an F player for a D player for a C player and so on, until it was an F for A trade.) Also, players with about 40 Hitting and 80 Power seem to hit 100 HR, 250 RBI, and a .524 average during the season. Career stats are not kept, and once, when one of my players had 393 K's with about 5 starts left (told you it was easy) the K stopped moving up. I got 16 in the next game, and his K total for the season was 394. I got 14, and it was 394 again. I would not recommend it for anyone, anywhere.
i was dissapointed with it too. i do like how the game plays though, more than all-star and high heat. it seems the guy was looking for a game for his kid to play, and i dont think his kid will care if he can trade up or if there are no errors(which i dont like). if i had to guess, his kid would probably like it. overall, the game sucks outside of where you play i think. if i could have a chance again i wouldnt have bought it for my ps2.
