Wow, he was in a "great mood." I don't give a #@$^! about your mood, Rich...
Harden throwing: Starter Rich Harden was advised to rest his sore shoulder while the A's were on their road trip, but he resumed throwing Friday and he did some more Saturday.
"Rich was in a great mood this morning,'' manager Bob Geren said, "and from his body language, I could tell he felt good. And that makes us all feel good.''
Harden is on a two-days-on, one-day-off throwing program and he could begin throwing off a mound in a week or so. Going by that timetable, it's unlikely he'd be back much before the final week of May.
Newest news..Basically they should say "Yeah Rich, we'll see you after the AS break. OK buddy, just keep resting"..And Basically what Geren said Im sure is a bold face Lie because he and the A's are like that as we learned..Harden was probably in pain..

here is how it will go down. Get ready. The A's have put him on the DL. In 2 weeks they are going to let him do some light throwing in the outfield. In a few days after that 30 pitches on the mound. Sounds good. 10 days after that, a minor league start about 4 innings. Oh NO! Shoulder feels a little tight lets let it rest for a few days. Here we go again 2 weeks later light throws in the outfield. 2 weeks later, 30 pitches off the mound in the bullpen. OH NO!!!!!! Some inflamation in the elbow, say hello to Dr. ANdrews....... you get the picture. You might think this is a joke, but those of you that have had Harden on your team in the past know I am right
HERE WE GO AGAIN.....
I hate it when I am right

Rich Harden didn't come back out for a second inning of relief Monday because he felt soreness in his first frame against the Indians.
"He was a little achy after the first so we felt one inning was enough," manager Bob Geren said. "Hopefully it's nothing major. Obviously we'll know more tomorrow. I was liking what I saw. He was throwing 95. He looked like the guy we saw earlier in the season. I saw nothing at all to indicate (there's something major wrong)." The A's may get to the point at which they ask Harden to pitch through it. Jun. 25 - 11:07 pm et
I have heard this so many times. I'd say he is hurt.
Harden (shoulder) admitted that the soreness he felt on Monday was similiar in nature to the pain he felt back in April, the team's web site reports.
ROTOWIRE RECOMMENDS: "It's similar to before," Harden said. "I felt it on the last hitter, and it's not worth pushing through right now. I tried to put a little something on one of those pitches, and I felt it, so that was it. We'll see how it feels [Tuesday]." Harden owners should know the drill by now: get ready to be without the ace for an extended period of time.

He'll be back on the DL within a week. No question about it.
I find this hilarious. I have him in several leagues and still find it hilarious. Just odd that they can't fix a Prior or a Harden, with all of the medical technology these days!
