Pitching to A-Rod in the 7th. Stopped pitching, everyone came out to teh mound and he threw a couple of pitches. After the first pitch he was trying to stretch his shoulder by whirling his arm around in a circle.

I believe from his reactions, he wanted to stay in the game.

lets not over react he shook his arm and the trainer came up his pictch count was getting up there and he just let up a double. More of a precautionary thing he seemed to be in good spirits when he made it to the dugout

He only threw 87 pitches.

:-o

Double blow for A's fans as Kennedy has just allowed the Yankees to take the lead.

I would hope so. He has been injury prone but his pitch count was only up to 87 when he was pulled. Not convinced it was precautionary. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Couldn't disagree more. He came out for injury related reasons, he was pitching well and his count was still under 100.

Here's what cbs says: "Harden may have left the game due to a shoulder issue. They allowed Joe Kennedy all the time he needed to warm up and they usually only allow that when a pitcher leaves due to injury."
