Al Reyes

This guy is pretty legit, 4 saves already this year. He missed 2006 but hes been lights out for the last 5 years or so. You think hell close the entire year. Im glad I picked his guy up. He K's a batter per inning and puts up great ratios.

Since 2002. 113.2 innings, 2.21 ERA, 9 K/9, 0.91 WHIP.

If he stays healthy he could put up BJ Ryan-esque numbers and could easily be the biggest surprise as a closer.

Anyone have an opinion on Reyes?

He pitched well in STL before he got injured. I think as long as he can stay healthy he will be a decent closing option this year. Expect a few hiccups along the way, but other than that should be decent.

After watching the game today, he looks EXTREMELY hittable. High 80's fastball and a decent little curve ball. Maybe Im just bitter but I doubt he holds onto the job for more then a month or two.
