Mussina and Pavano placed on DL

Can't say I'm shocked about Carl.

Reliever Chris Britton called up for today's game, Chase Wright (four hits, one walk, 19 strikeouts in 14 scoreless innings in Double A) will probably get called up sometime before Tuesday to start that game.

who would have thunk it huh... Pavano on the DL? ;-7

man, that Yankees rotation is looking horrendous right now. If they are going to win any games, they are gonna have to score 10+ runs.

I say go for it. Let's see how he does. I have a feel Pavano won't be around much AGAIN.

I doubt it. He got knocked around a bit in his second start in AAA and if he's not pitching Tuesday against the Indians on 5 days rest then the Yankees aren't going to mess with his schedule to pitch against Boston.

Chase Wright will pitch Tuesday against Cleveland and Sunday against Boston, and my guess would be Matt DeSalvo getting the call for Saturday's game.

And after that, Wang and/or Jeff Karstens should be back so I don't see Hughes going anywhere.

Well, I'm getting punished for being a Yankees homer. I've got 3 teams, and I've got Wang on all 3, Mussina on 2, Pavano on 2. Argh!!

Chase Wright will be interesting. He has been sensational so far for Double A Trenton.

And words really can't describe how much I hate Carl Pavano at this point. What a joke.

Pavano is just a joke. A waste of a roster spot. The future of the Yankees is young guys like Hughes and Wright, not guys like Pavano. This may well be a blessing in disguise.
