Who do you think are the coolest movie or TV characters?
I mean Dirty Harry sort of cool.
This is what qualifies-
Good use of sunglasses
Great one liners
Ice coolness
Great stares instead of talking at times

The first guy that comes to mind is:
Harvey Keitel as Winston Wolf in "Pulp Fiction" ("I'm Winston Wolfe. I solve problems.")
Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade in "The Maltese Falcon."
Kevin Costner as Thomas J. Murphy in "3000 Miles to Graceland" (sunglasses)
Robert De Niro as Sam in "Ronin"
and can't forget:
John Wayne as Tom Doniphon in "the Man Who Shot Liberty Valance"
oh and Eastwood as Blondie in "the good, the bad and the Ugly"
