CHICAGO -- Moments before the Reds began Sunday's game vs. the Cubs, it was learned that left fielder Adam Dunn was scratched because of back spasms. Josh Hamilton started in Dunn's place and batted third. It was not known how long Dunn might be out of action.

So hopefully, it is just nothing to worry about given his duribility. ;-D But keep a close eye on it and get ready to ponce on Hamilton! :-D

Apr 15 FOX Sports Net reports Cincinnati Reds OF Adam Dunn (back) sat out the game Sunday, April 15, because of back spasms. OF Josh Hamilton replaced him in left field and hit No. 3 in the batting order. B-)

Only reports out right now, I guess it is a wait and see! :-o

CINCINNATI: LF Adam Dunn was a late scratch Sunday after feeling a sharp pain in his back when he grabbed the dugout rail on the way to the field. "It felt like two knives went in my back," he said. Dunn, batting .326 with four homers, expects to play Monday against Milwaukee even though he had a tough time taking deep breaths and was unable to lay on his stomach when he got to the clubhouse.

This is the latest! ;-D

my worst fear in fantasy (next to trading for a SP who promptly goes on the DL for the year), is starting a big time bat who is questionable and then winds up sitting for a 7-game scoring period.

I'm thinking Hamilton will get at least 4, maybe 5, starts regardless this week, and 7 if Dunn goes out. Thinking he's a better option. Thoughts?
