Just an update for everyone - he left the game yesterday with lower back spasms and is listed as day to day. Carroll will likely start today.

Now that he's on the DL will Carroll get most of the ABs and if they bring Barmes up, how will that effect Tulowitzki?

Not a lot I would think. Carroll will get most of the starts at 2B with Barmes as the utility player. I'm sure Barmes willl get a few starts at short though.

Okay I am two for two this season on picking up players that go immediatly on the DL...Kelvim Escobar and now Kaz....I will post a thread about the next person I pick up..just to give everyone a heads up....I just picked up Johnny Peralta.
