He was suppose to start yesterday but the game got rained out. Now I would assume that he would start today (Saturday) but yahoo says Capuano is going. Anyone know what is going on here. Please help! Thanks

Man, I get nervous when I see a thread called "Sheets" in this forum. Going forward, can we give more information in the thread title so as not to give me a heart attack. :-o

Two bad starts... shouldn't be anything to worry about. Though i'll be paying closer attention to his next three starts..

Nothing to worry about? I dunno man, had it been a soft 9 runs that he gave up (bloop hits, a few bad fielding plays) I wouldn't be worried but he's been getting hit HARD these last two outings.

If he gives up 5 plus to the light hitting Astros next time out, I think all of us Sheets owners should start to worry slightly

Worry about what?? He had 2 bad starts, and the Cards got hot. I watched his first 2 starts this year, and he was terrific vs LA, and he had location issues against the Cubs. I don't think theres anything to worry about. It's just 2 bad starts strung together. I don't think he suddenly lost his fastball or his curve.

I'm a little worried. He hasn't been striking people out in any of his starts, which is not very Sheets-like. He also walked three people in just five innings today, which is very unSheetslike. He walked only a handful of people all last year and had a K/BB ratio of more than 10. I'm not sure what's up, but today's start was very discouraging to say the least.

Its way too early so far. Sheets was supposed to start Friday and was thrown out of his rhythm with the rainout. The Cards offense was also due to bust out one of these days. He looked fine on the mound. Give him a shot in the home start vs the Stros where he can get into a rhythm and put together a nice string of starts.

I wouldn't worry about Sheets just yet. If healthy, I still like him.
