Middle Infield Prospect

Postby DON'T RUB IT!!! » Sat Apr 14, 2007 11:07 am

I am in need of a middle infielder in my 14 team league. We have a slot to hold one player in the minors. I am leaning towards B. Wood but it seems the Angels have depth and Chone Figgins is coming back soon. Are there any other prospects that may get a call up soon?

Any educated advice is appreciated... as always WHIR

The only guys that I think are major league ready are Reid Brignac SS Devil Rays

Brent Lillibridge SS, Braves

Yeah, Lilllibridge and Brignac are good ones. Is it a keeper league??? If not, then there aren't any standouts that will be up in 2007. Brandon Wood is about the only one.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

those are the only good ones to be called up this year

next year though: Eric Campbell has like 30 hrs potential and will play 2B/3B for the Braves. Others worth noting are Sean Rodriguez and Joaquin Arias.

I don't think Arias has anywhere to play with Young and Kinsler already in the infield in Texas. Campbell is really a guy I just looked up and he looks very promising. PECOTA likes him too, but not a lot. Since we're talking 2008 now, also keep an eye out for Alexi Casilla 2B/SS MIN. He's Luis Castillo's clone.
