Reid Brignac

Thinking of taking Brignac with one of my early picks Sunday. I made a trade and part of the deal was I wouldn't take Longoria. Do you see Brignac having good long term value? More power then Longoria? I saw a new ranking yesterday and they had Brignac now ahead of Longoria.

Longoria and Brig have about equal power right now but if i was to project them i'd say Longoria has more projectable power.

Longoria seems like he has the better overall bat as well.

Longoria is a bit better prospect. Longoria has better defense and their bats are pretty equal. I imagine the reason why Brignac is ranked a bit higher is position. Brignacs numbers will look a bit better from the SS position, but he is going to have to improve his defense to stay at the SS position. I would feel much more comfortable with Longoria on my minor league squad as I think the chances of him fizzing out are quite a bit slimmer then Brignac's.
