I just picked him up in two leagues. I am gambling a little a bit but I think he has huge upside. Better to act now then to let someone sleeping get him.

Its a tough line up to crack (barring injuries...in which case there is a good chance of it happening)

Is going to good...but toronto has frank thomas signed for 2 years and is taking up their dh spot for now.

Good move if you're in a keeper league (which I am, and I did pick him up). As mentioned in the post above, the Blue Jay lineup is a toughe one to crack, even if he does well with his cup of tea in the bigs. He's going to be a very good player I think.

According to Yahoo, Lind is hitting in the number two spot in today's Blue Jays lineup behind Alex Rios and is playing left field.

For what it's worth, BaseballHQ is very high on him. They only projected 171 AB at the start of the season but also projected a line of .289/.355/.488. Sounds fairly resonable. It's being reported in some articles that Johnson's "sore back" is in fact a herniated disc. If so, Lind could be around for a lengthy period of time if not for good.

I don't think that his upside is necessarily huge, especially this year. If you're in a keeper, I think he's worth a spot as a 2nd tier hitting prospect. He'll hit for AVG, but I'm curious to see if his power will translate to the majors. The guy only weighs 190, after all...
