ok, this is my first team, and i kinda need help. It is a roto, 5x5 and there are ten teams in the league

C- Estrada
1b- Richie Sexson
2B- R. Cano
3b- A-rod
SS- Jimmy Rollins
OF- Manny Ramirez, Nick Markikis, and Magglio Ordonez
Utility- Michael Young
Bench- J. Lugo, Coco Crisp, Adam LaRoche, Nomar Garciaparra

Pitchers
SPs- J. Peavy, Brett Myers, Daizuka Matsuzaka, Tim Hudson, AJ Burnett
RP- Francisco Rodreguez, Francisco Cordero


I just made a trade with another team-- i think its a good one
I gave up scott podsednik and Chad Cordero to get michael young and julio lugo. Was this the right choice? Was it bad for me to get that. (I subsituted it into the roster above to show my current roster)

Should i get another reliever, and try to upgrade at first base? Any help would be much appreciated! THANKS SO MUCH

A pretty balanced offense, as far as power and speed goes. Sexson is going to hurt your average and OBP all season. I think that your better off having Garciaparra in there. At some point you might want to try upgrading with a trade... I've gotta say, even though that trade left you with too few RPs, how could you not do it. That was a steal. I'm not sure you can really use Lugo, though, and its a shame to have him sitting on the bench. I'd try and trade him for another decent closer. I think your SP looks pretty good. I'd drop LaRoche and Crisp... there must be better OFers on waivers.

I got offered Freddy Sanchez and Gary Sheffield for Cano straight up? Any suggestions on that?
