Marlins activated LHP Taylor Tankersley from the 15-day disabled list.

Tankersley probably won't be put in save situations right away, but he's as good of a bet as anyone to be the Marlins' most effective reliever this year. He's well worth owning in NL-only leagues at least.

anyone think he'll be a WW steal?

Honestly, I think this guy will be the closer.

I think Owens and Lindstrom are huge question marks. I guess it's possible that one of those two gets the job (look at Papelbon last year), but I don't see those guys having unbelievable stuff like Paps.

We know what Tank can do.

I picked up Tank a week ago anticipating this situation. I don't need him, but it would be nice to have another CL as trade bait.

Agreed. I picked him up for that and as an insurance policy incase either Wickman or Jones goes down. And that could be any day! :-o

My guess is Tank will be closing in a couple of weeks, not quite yet...

I'll just keep him on the DL and see what happens; if he becomes the closer I'll just take him off the DL.

I would put my money on Owens.
He pitched well so far and his 2006 minor league stats are great.

Henry Owens - Binghamton Mets-AA
Saves 20
IP 40.0
ERA 1.58
Hits 19
Walks 10
Ks 74 !!!
HR 1
