We got an inch of snow last night and the high temperature hasnt been above 45 for almost two weeks. Not having a roof his a HUGE mistake. Still it looks really sweet
This is exactly right. No roof?!? In Minnesota?? There are going to be ALOT of Rain-outs. The weather there is horrible for Baseball. Expect them to play a few games in Milwaukee themselves.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

the pinetrees should be in play, like the flagpole at Minute Maid. Torii Hunter could climb up on them and do like spiderman jumps off the limbs to catch balls.
I think they should have done atleast a retractable roof, but we also gotta remember this seasons early weather cancelations is pretty rare/weird/abhorrent(Right?)
We are missing one major thing that effected the Clevland seris this week and that is the lake effect snow, this time of the year when it does snow it tends to be gone within a day or two wendsday we had two maybe three inches of wet heavy snow most if it is gone by now. If we're going to have to play game at miller then so are the cubs and the white sox. Our weather is not that bad it a myth that we promote to keep lilly livers out of our great state
There is an underground system that is going to keep the field at 65 degrees, so when any snow hits the field, it should melt immediately.
I don't think rain-outs are going to be a huge deal either. Minnesota summer evenings are generally pretty nice and rain-outs won't occur more often than they do at any other open air stadium.
I just think it is hiliarious that people are saying the Twins not having a retractable roof is a huge mistake because now many a game will be postponed due to rain, snow, the smell of burining rubbage, etc.
NEWS FLASH....we here at HELLO! WAKE UP! News Central would like to report that New York (both teams), Boston and the cubs all have fields that do not have roofs (permanent and retractable alike) and some how....some way....teams like that are ok. Hell....we don't even have our stadium by a big lake!

I just think it is funny.....that's all.
Minnesota is also farther North than all of the above said Citites and in October it snows there

Not early October though. Baseball's season will make it no different than Cleveland. Sometimes early games will have to be postponed. Things happen. It's not worth 100 million dollars of taxpayer money to make it work every day. October will be cold but most likely not snowy. If it was a huge deal, Selig would say something. It's not.
