Buck and Marte?

Postby JASE » Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:24 pm

Does Andy Marte still project as a top power hitting 3b? He has struggled some but still has plenty of power potential. Future all-star or just an average regular.

Marte is 23. He plays on a better offensive team and in a better park. I think he'll be a .260-.275 25HR guy who will end up hitting 6th in the lineup in a few years. Fairly solid, nothing great.

Buck is also 23. His stats remind me of a Coco Crisp type player before Crisp got hurt. He'll hit .290-.300 and have 15 HR's and 10 steals. His peak should be about 22 HR and 15 steals.
