I agree. The guy is 49 and is still playing. Also, the reason Minaya signed him to a two-year deal was primarily to help the youngsters develop and offer tips to the stars as well. I know The Sporting News ran a story on how Franco would make a great manager since he's been around the game so long.
I also like Maddux, Glavine and Ausmus (among others). One wild card as well: Miguel Tejada. He doesn't miss a game and is a perfectionist. I know he only watches tape of the outs he's made, not the HR's and other good things he does at the plate.
