Youkilis has put up around the same numbers every season and it`s really nothing special. Beltre is a risk but his reward is a lot greater than Youkilis. Take a chance on Beltre.

i actually like beltre's chances to make comeback player of the year this year. with improved mechanics (spring is a good example), apparently hes able to open up more, and allow for more power to swing through the zone.

sooner or later, vidro will be moved to 2nd because of his patience and... fatness, with beltre getting moved to 3rd to raise his confidence. as a mariner fan, i hope he hits around 35, with 100+ RBI, with both ichiro and vidro having career years, and the mariners winning the pennant. but seriously, beltre is going to hit between his average, and his contract LA year.
"I dont know who the Royals will have in centerfield now that Estebean German took one in the mouth on a fly ball. Probably Kerry Robinson which means that the Royals start with one out every 3 innings."
