Sleeper catchers?

Postby -Heat- » Wed Apr 11, 2007 6:51 pm

Right now Michael Barrett is not doing anything for me so are there any possible sleeper catchers out there?

Be patient with Barrett; he's not worth dropping for anything you're likely to find as a FA.

However, if you're just looking to add a temporary catcher to your bench, guys like Gerald Laird, Ronny Paulino, Chris Iannetta, Mike Napoli, Miguel Montero, and Carlos Ruiz are some of the most popular pure "sleeper" catchers. Other solid guys like Estrada and Molina could also be on your wire.

Let me know who is on your WW, and I can get back to you. Don't drop Barrett though.

Barrett's doing halfway decent. He's a had some good games and bad ones -- we'll be seeing more good ones soon enough. Be patient.
