He's 0-13 at the plate, and Torrealba is likely to get two starts per week. It's the norm with the Rockies.

All you have to do is look at Yorvit's production last year in limited opportunity. It was known before the season that Torrealba would see plenty of playing time and it would be a platoon situation.

Not debating that he was the top rookie, but it was understood that Torrealba would see more action that most backup catchers.
