i'd also rather have iannetta in your situation.
i am curious as to what will happen between barajas and ruiz though, because i am looking for a C to replace yadier molina in my large 2C league. any phils fans have any idea what is going on?
thanks to madison/go_jays_go for the slick sig!

Ruiz looked really good last year in very limited ABs. Based on how he's played, he'd be a good candidate to start in a 2 C or NL only format. However, it will be interesting to see how he does with a starting job for the first time in his career. Another interesting C in the Phillies system is Chris Coste. He also played very well last year. It'll be interesting to see how he does, if he would get called up during the year. Honestly, I don't think I'd pick up Ruiz. There's too much competition at C for the Phils.

Considering I live in Philly, I know the situation with Ruiz.
He's in a Platoon with barajas who are GM (Pat Gillick) brought in, but will get more starts then barajas. Chris Coste is also in the minors and just got moved up to Triple A, he got hurt in spring training so he could get some starts as well in the future.
My advice would be stay away from Ruiz unless your in a deep league.
