I don't have him really high on the list, but I don't think he will fall of the planet either. Probably will end up going too early in the draft. Should post decent numbers, and does have a good upside, but I'm not betting the farm on him.

Lopez has had quite a few nice years for a c. Te best thing for fantasy owners happened. He left Atlanta. No more sitting for Maddux. Now he will start more, and could dh as well. I see no reason he can't go 25 hrs 80 rbis.

starting catchers usually sit 1 out of every 5 games but he will probably able to play 1B/DH to get his ABs when he is catching which is the upside of him going to Baltimore

A couple weeks ago I was listening to ESPN radio and they were discussing that Javy gets like a massive bonus ($5 mil, I believe? Can anyone else confirm?) for keeping his weight within a three pound range. So it would seem the Orioles have the same concerns and are putting him to the test by offering him a nice treat.

I heard this too....I don't remember what the money was...but he has to keep his weight between 210-213 pounds to get it.....I'll see if I can find it....

well we all know hell probably go higher in any draft than he intially should, but well leave that problem to the guys who draft him high. also, even if he doesnt repeat last year, how many catcher hit on that level? maybe 4 or 5. most of the catchers hit in the mid .200 range with 10-20 homers and around 50-60 rbis. so if he doesnt hit like his last season, hell fall back around the pack but more likely a bit above. so no matter what, hell be a good catcher for a fantasy team.
