All this guy does is get on base. He's also got speed. He may not be a top notch defender but is obviously major league worthy enough that they trot him out to 3B and 1B.
Am I missing something here?

Doesn't play everyday w/ Grudz at 2B and Gordon at 3B.
Shame, if they sat one of those guys, German would likely steal 25.

Sure. Or get rid of Mike Sweeney who is obviously not going to be with the Royals when they are winning the division and start playing guys who will.
German would make a very intriguing DH if his defense is questionable.
