What a mess! Looking for a good young SP in a keeper league!

I joined this league late in the draft. The previous owner quit and left me with quite a mess(Including 2 good Ut players on a team with 1 util spot.) Thus Ive been trying to move one, as one of my many moves to make something out of this team.

I got this offer today. Do I make the move? I desperately need pitching! If so who do I drop?

He sends: PFielder & CHamels for my THafner.

Theirs no one really interested in Thome or Giambi at this point. And this guys looking for youth too.

If not this deal do u see anything else i could try with him?

so with nobody interested in Thome or Giambi, what are you going to do with Fielder? I like Fielder like getting Friday off from work, but this deal doesn't do it for me. Get yourself a replacement for Reed Johnson in this deal instead and not another logjam.

Drop Kelly Johnson and Mike Jacobs if this league is >12 teams and pick up useful pitchers.

I would also drop either Pedro or Liriano and use that DL spot for someone who needs it and pick up a player who helps you now. Yes it may sound blasphemous, but there's no way you would keep both those guys.

well heres what i did i made some drops and opened up some spots on the roster.

I cut Pedro(opening DL spot), CQuentin & EDukes(Remember its only 7 keepers). I then put CCarpenter on the DL.

I then added DDejesus, MMorris(temp fix & will rotate him) & TLinceum.

And i traded Hafner for Fielder & Oswalt.


Maybe i can trade Giambi for a vet OF too. Who knows.

I feel bottom line I pick up 2 very good keepers while giving up 1.

With Linceum, Garza & Bailey in the wings I still have a shot this year. Im even thinking of grabbing Andrew Miller(who there is talk could be called up soon.
