How can I exploit my league's odd scoring...Any strategies?

I'm a rookie and can't figure out if this scoring system can be exploited. So far I've just tried to field a balanced team, but am wondering if there's something I'm missing...

if you get rewarded for the most Innings Pitched then you could try adding more starting pitchers.

My thought is that if maxing out my innings helps IP,W,K but hurts BB,ERA,WHIP - then it's basically a wash. At least not significant enough to justify the extra effort of adding and dropping every day...

My only empirical support for the above is that according to the baseballmonster site, Scot Shields' value increases from -.14 to -.11 when you add the IP,BB categories to the standard five
