It is a 20 team league, 6X6 Dynasty in which I commish. Holds and OBP are the other two categories if your not familiar with the 6X6.

C-
1B-Ryan Klesko
2B-Michael Young
3B-Hank Blalock
SS-Angel Berroa
OF-Marlon Byrd
OF-Jose Guillen
OF-Cliff Floyd
UTIL-No One Yet

SP-Mark Prior
SP-Johan Santana
SP-Mark Redman
RP-Latroy Hawkins
RP-
P-Rafeal Soriano
P-Cliff Lee
P-Ramon Ortiz

You can view my Leagues Website, hopefully it shows up in the signature. I am thinking of taking Jermaine Dye next, then after that the pickings are pretty slim. I am thinking I need an extra 1B, 3B, SS, and 2 more OF. I'd like to have 7 SP and 5 RP. But here's where I need some input gents.

Which players should I take out of this list.

C-Miguel Olivo
C-Benito Santiago
C-Benji Molina
C-Matt Lecroy
1B-Carlos Pena
1B-Ken Harvey
1B-Choi
2B-Utley
SS-Omar Infante-he's been tearing it up in Fall ball.
SS-Juan Uribe
3B-Joe Randa
3B-Pedro Feliz
OF-Endy Chavez
OF-Larry Bigby
OF-Willie Mo Pena
OF-Coco Crisp
OF-Kevin Mench

Then SP's I am looking at
Darrell May
Brian Anderson
Jason Johnson
Jeremi Gonzalez
Jeff Weaver
Kurt Ainsworth
Casey Fossum
Kris Benson
Kyle Snyder
Orlando Hernandez

We are not drafting ANY rookies in the major league draft, and are holding a seperate serpentine draft at the conclusion of the major league draft.

Thanks everyone, and look forward to some responses.
Well here is the website just in case. If your looking for a league to join, we have a waiting list for all 4 leagues on the message board, at the bottom. Here's the link:http://www.geocities.com/mcsarge2112/RealDealHomePage.html?1066371543996

Welcome to the Cafe'! ;-D

LeCroy would be my first pick. :-)

Then I'd go with Weaver or Orlando Hernandez.

Well, I like the idea of the draft at the end of the MLB draft. That's an interesting twist. I always pick one or two college players in my deep keeper fantasy draft, and then keep them if they're sign by NL-teams. That's how I got Rickie Weeks last year.
The guys I'd take are:
C-Matt Lecroy
1B-Choi
2B-Utley
Kurt Ainsworth
Kris Benson
Orlando Hernandez
I'm not really impressed with your team, at this time. Right now, you seem to only have one Top20 player (Prior), and everyone else seems to start around the Top60 range and work down. Therefore, I bet there's at least 10 teams in your keeper league that have three or more keepers in the Top60. I'd expect them to win. I'd see you finishing between 10-15 in your league.
Another Year, Another Championship. I'm 2 for 2.

My Suggestions

Postby Heavy Lumber » Wed Dec 31, 2003 1:32 pm

As far as your every day player list goes I like the following players:

C - Matt Lecroy
1B - Carlos Pena
3B - Joe Randa
OF - Kevin Mench

First Choice would be Pena, depending on where he lands.

Pitchers:

Jeff Weaver - Now that he is in Chavez Ravine
Casey Fossum

First choice Jeff Weaver.

Good Luck
