I heard this guy was being compared to a young pedro.
does any one know if he will play mlb next year and where would you draft him.

I have really not looked alot at him..but what I have....does not impress me...injury risk....and lack of control concern me.... :-/

his fastball was said to top 100mph but then he is said to have gotten hurt. now they say he only throws 87, which is why he was left off the cuban national team.

i personally think this decline in velocity may have been made up to discourage interest from MLB and try and keep him from defecting.

i wouldnt draft him until i saw him pitch. he doesnt come with the same reputation as Contreras or el duque.

Well, he's already defected, so this won't have any influence on that decision at all. He will get signed by an ML team, probably as a setup man, who could move to a closer's role.

thats what im saying. i think the loss in velocity rumors came out before he left to try to stop him from leaving

I think he still has all of his velocity which would make him a prime reliever
