Usual scoring system on Yahoo!

We start C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF x3, UT, SP, SP, RP, RP, P....

Here is my team.

C - Mike Piazza, Kenji Jojihma
1B - Albert Pujols, Derek Lee
2B - Howie Kendrick
SS - Hanley Ramirez, Edgar Renteria
3B - Alex Rodriguez, Miguel Cabrera
OF - Carl Crawford, Jaun Pierre, Jermains Dye, Grady Sizemore
UT - Usually, Cabrera so I can have him and A-Rod in the line-up.

SP - Jason Schmidt, Ben Sheets, Rich Harden, Roy Halladay, Jake Peavy (Forgot to add him before. I've had him all along too.)
RP - Billy Wagner, Jonathon Paplebon, Scott Shields

How did I do?

Any suggestions on how to improve?

2B and SS concern me more than anything. Is that right?

Freel is available. Worth a pick-up?

i think your pretty solid. You could go out and look for another closer. Freel could be a decent pick up over Renteria if you like Freel.

Another thought is if you have confidence in Derek Lee you could shop Pujols, its insane what some people can get for that guy!!

I actually think you're solid at 2B and SS, Kendrick should be pretty good and Renteria is a servicable replacement until HanRam gets back from his strain/injury/something.

I'd agree with you choice for the utility spot, keep MCab there. Unfortunately that leaves a log jam at OF and 1B. I'd say you trade off Pierre from your outfield, someone must need speed since you have 3 of the best base stealers in the game. And then I'd deal Lee, since you're obviously not going to play him over Pujols.

Who do you deal these guys for? You could try for an upgrade at 2B and go after Utley. Other then that your hitters are rock solid. Pitching is probably where you want to upgrade. Sheets and Harden are aces when healthy, but who knows how long that will be. Schmidt is decent but you can do better. Try and target some of the second tier aces like Peavy, Webb, Lackey, and Zambrano. Your closers could use some work as well. Paps is a possible injury risk and although I like shields, you'll probably want a third closer. I'm guessing with the caliber of your offense, this is a small league.

Shop around D-Lee, Pujols, Arod, or MCab. If Im correct one of them sits on your bench daily. It's a waste of talent so trade it off for something you can use. Make sure you dont get any players on the same MLB team as any of your other players - its a superstition you have.

Yea, you actually have a pretty damn good team. I would try to trade one of your hitters for another starter or maybe a top reliever, up to you.
