I grabbed Byrnes in a few leagues in the 15th round.
Glad I did, as he looks like the 25/25 player he was last year

I've got Byrnes on my bench.
My starters for OF are Crawford, Abreu, and Dunn, and my UT is Thome.
Any reason I should be starting Byrnes over any of these guys?

Now my trade, Byrnes for Baldelli seems to be smacking me in the face.

Sell Byrnes while he's hot. He's so streaky as he'll hit like Pujols one moment then hit like Neifi the next.

Im inclined to agree... I really haven't watched much of byrnes upclose til this season, I snagged him all leagues as a risk pick/ 4th OF.
I hoping for more of Brian Roberts 2005 or even a Beltre 04 contract year then a Shelton 2006 campaign.. Im sure you all remember seeing Roberts for Jeter trades etc etc.
Anyways, If you can sell high now... good few you. Im holding til the hype builds up a bit more, then see who comes calling

If you found my advice helpful, please help me

Trade him now while his value is high. I don't see him hitting 30 home runs, I think .285 - 25hr - 90rbi - 25sb is realistic, 9-10th round value. As others have said, this is just like brian roberts in '05 or chris shelton last year...

Byrnes needs to learn how to hit RHP with consistency before we even talk about anything close to a .300 BA

I agree with Lambskin, but think we could also start talking HOF. I see no reason he can't be a first ballot guy.
