Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Patterson is one of the many great enigmas this offseason. We all saw that he was absolutely torching the numbers before he got hurt. He also spent some time hitting in the three hole, which i don't see happening this year. They may try to lead him off, but Dusty, nor anyone else really thinks he's a leadoff hitter. So with Sosa, Lee, et all in the middle of the order, this may bump patterson down to the 7 hole behind Aramis Ramirez. Renteria proved that he could put up numbers from the six/seven hole, but I am still skeptical of a seven hole hitter. Can he put up Soriano like numbers? Yes. Will he? hmmmmmm, i guess that is why we have this forum.

He sould be 100% ready for ST....and should put up good numbers next year...as long as he maintains his plate discipline...that is what has bothered him his whole career....he got a good grip on it last year...and was showing what he could do.....
