A guy just dropped Andrew Jones and Raul Ibanez,
weve already had Garret Atkins and Chone Figgins dropped, as well as Pedro (ok I can understand that) and Clemens (I can understad this too).

Why would you drop those guys?
crappy 10th WW pick

Because your leaguemates aren't strong fantasy players. Nothing wrong with it, provided it doesn't bother you.

i know, we are all random people from a website in common. But most of these guys have played for a couple years...

But, to drop Jones after a week?
and now a competent team (and my main competition) will get him.

I just dont know how people dont know andrew jones...

Read my original reply, man. :-b That's the real answer.

Why don't you snag Druw so that your competition doesn't? He have priority over you?

Those types of drops are pretty common if you are in multiple public leagues in Yahoo.

people who dont really know what theyre doing. seeing players struggle early in the season, panic and dump those players for other players who are currently on hot steaks, who as the season goes on might not be anywhere close to the star players who were dropped.
who were the players they picked up for those star players?
in a shallow league where there are only a handfull of teams means there are more quality players as free agents, so it might not be so bad.
ive played in a 6 team league with some friends where you could afford to drop a starish type player struggling early because there was another similar starish type player as a free agent.. but in a deeper league thats just crazy.
