Is he going to be on the roster this year? Soemone told me he has alot of potential.

Sorry. You are right. I had him mixed up with there up and coming 1st baseman. Too much of wrveres egg nog I guess ;-7

I might be wrong but did he not go to the Cardinals in the J D DERW trade.

Bright future. Could make the team as a 5th starter this year.

Worth a bench in deep leagues or a spot in your minors if you have one.

While it's inevitable that at least 1 Cardinal pitcher will go down, the Cards have a lot of swingmen -- Simontacchi, Calero, Pearce, Haren/Carpenter(whichever doesn't make the rotation) so Wainwright may not see action this year.
