who can you compare this guy to and what type of numbers can we expect from him?

also, when will he get called up?

I have never heard of him. I would love some info on him. Is he someone I need to keep an eye out for?

If there was no Joe Mauer, Mathis could be the minors best c. Has more power then Joe, not quite the walks Joe has.

If there was no Joe Mauer, Mathis could be the minors best c. Has more power then Joe, not quite the walks Joe has.

It's a shame the Angels don't have an immediate need for a catcher.

i'd expect very little...maybe .275 with 15 taters max...

He only batted .180 in Scottsdale last year...
