who can you compare this guy to and what type of numbers can we expect from him?
also, when will he get called up?

If there was no Joe Mauer, Mathis could be the minors best c. Has more power then Joe, not quite the walks Joe has.

If there was no Joe Mauer, Mathis could be the minors best c. Has more power then Joe, not quite the walks Joe has.

It's a shame the Angels don't have an immediate need for a catcher.
