I would be surprised to see Wheeler brought out in the next save opportunity. Gardner has stuck with Lidge through much worse.

I don't think Lidge will lose it for at least another 3 or 4 saves. He did horribly today but even so it was a save opportunity.

Yes, I know. But Lidge hadn't pitched in 5 days (this would've been his 6th), so it's understandable why he'd get work today.

im still trying to trade for wheeler but i cant see lidge going just yet. look what wheeler did so far, he hasnt been exactly lights out. i am 99% sure hes going to lose the job sometime this season but i would even give it another month.
