I believe he will end up in Chicago. Like pkarr I hope not because the N.L. is going to be hard enough for my Braves but it looks like that is where he will end up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't signed by spring training. Boras kinda backed him in a corner and no one is jumping to hand over $10 mil a year for multiple years.

You gotta wonder when Boras is going to learn. He was on Boston radio this past weekend saying that if Arod were in today's market he would make more than his current contract.

If Pudge gets an offer of 3 years 24 million, he should take it and be happy. I'm not sure he'll get that anyway. With no market, teams would be silly to give him three years. Sign him for one or two for eight or nine million; I mean, why pay him 10 when no one else wants him?
