H2H Strategy - San Fran

Postby samjerky » Sun Apr 08, 2007 1:31 pm

Is it time to start streaming starters against San Fran? They're awful, and when Bonds isn't playing, wow. They look like a AAA team. I've been picking up starters to go against them - next up is Wolf. Agree or disagree?

If you search for discussions on churning and/or streaming, you'll see that there's a large contingency of people who are against streaming, period, myself included. I won't play in a league unless there are limitations and/or rules in place to prevent this "strategy", and I use the term loosely.

As a Giants fan, I can vouch and say that the Giants offense is anemic. It's PRETTY bad, especially when Bonds sits.

However.. I'm overall against streaming. But, if you feel that it could give you an edge, by all means go ahead. The Giants once every blue moon will get an offensive explosion, though.

I think the Nationals are worse than the Giants.

Although I only use streaming as a last resort.

seriously. It's either wiff at a breaking ball or pull everything into a double play.

Yeah, I guess if you are in a league that limits transactions, it's not possible to do. But I'm not going to be bound by honor in a league where everyone else is streaming, so .... I put in Wolf this weekend. That worked out well.
