Hey fellas,
I was deployed to the Middle East on the USS Nimitz for the entire spring training and baseball season for 2003 and had little access to current baseball happenings. I am looking to get back into fantasy baseball this season but have no idea who the new players are who had breakout seasons or the established players that had big years. Could I get some help in the form of Names of these players who fit into the catagories above so I could do some homework on them for the upcoming season. Thanks to ALL in advance!
Jeff

Hank Blalock had a great year and so did Esteban Loaiza.
Jeff Cirillo still sucks.

Welcome, and thanks for your service in defense of this great country.
There were a ton of players who broke out last season and I wouldn't even know where to begin. Here's a few names off of the top of my head:
J. Lopez
Blalock
D. Ortiz
M. Giles
Cintron
Mueller
Ensberg
Rentaria
A. Berroa
P. Wilson
V. Wells
Pierre
Santana
Webb
Loaiza
There are many, many more whom I can't think of right now.

Beckett definetly had a good postseason but I dont think that he had enough starts in a season to prove to me that he get hurt after two starts this coming season

First of all, that sentence is.. bad. But it's also foolish. Because
BECKETT is AWESOME!

This Pujols kid looks like he has some skills.
Seriously though, Texeria is going to make everyone forget Blalock's season last year. I also agree with previous posters on Santana, Ensberg and Beckett as far as players that stepped up and will continue to step up even more.
And Cirillo does still suck.
