When are the Royals going to trade Beltran?

KCs chances of winning the division are pretty slim. They have to get production from an extremely young pitching staff who were pretty much shelled after they made their way around the majors a couple times. They have to get production from a guy known for his injuries and lack of heart (Juan Gone). Benito Santiago will help a bit if he can stay healthy. I still dont think they have replaced Ibanez.

Honestly, I see KC building a house of cards for this yr, and a couple of the major components have huge questionmarks. Can a KC fan be optimistic? Sure, just dont go sell the farm.

Payton is good for the Royals but bad for fantasy owners. I had him on my roster and and only started him at home. His away stats aren't bad, just average. His home stats were great. I wish, for his and our sake, he could stay in Denver.

Payton should be an asset in center field for San Diego, but just because he stayed healthy last year, it shouldn't be forgotten that he is one of the more injury-prone players around. Take than into consideration when bidding on him. The Payton addition means Xavier Nady likely will return to Triple-A. The Padres will only keep him if the majors they're able to find a taker for Terrence Long.
