Good point. The royals will need someone to take Ibanez' spot to give a little protection to those two. I don't see Bennito or Joe Randa filling that role. If Payton can hit .300 or better again, he fits pretty well.

I agree they need someone to fill in for Ibanez...but are Stairs and Payton really the ones to do it..... :-?

I can't think of one ...

"Platoon" ... Its not as bad as "Injured" IMO. Because with Platoon you lose sleep for weeks, debating, "Keep him?" "Drop Him?" And ya know you should cut him loose, its the right thing to do. But as soon as ya do ... Jimy Williams hits his head and has a vision and .. walla ... There goes your corner .... :-)

Platoon = avoid :-t
