Indonesian villagers claim to have captured a python that is almost 49.21 feet (15 meters) long and weighs nearly 992.07 pounds (450 kilograms), a local official said Monday.

the thing that struck me funniest about this was the "Almost 49.21 feelt" and the "nearly 992.07" you usually don't use those words when you are going out 2 decimal places!

that's a big ol snake!

I read about his earlier this morning and as a snake lover I was even floored. I've held 14 foot snakes before that weighed about 180 lbs and I thought that was out of control. 8-o

I wanna see a picture dang-nabbit lol.

Nice catch! Nearly 992.07, eh? Sounds a whole lot more impressive than plain old 992.06 to me... :-D

Sounds like someone doesn't like rounding after converting from the metric system. :-D

Can you imagine that snake trying to suffocate you? :-o
