Dynasty league Question

Most of u are no doubt involved in Dynasty leagues yourself so id love as much feedback as possible to improve the league i run.

Its a 20team 25man roster + 8 minor leaguers per farm club.

When it comes to minor leaguers we allow each owner to keep them on the farm until they reach their mlb rookie eligibility. 130ABs or 50IPs. then then have to call them up. But i am a tad concerned though that this is not enough time.

Thus id like to hear what u r doing in this regard.

In our keeper league it's 250 AB's, 10 starts, or 20 relief appearances. Also, if a guy is in the minors you can put them in your minor league system (Mark Prior when he's not on the DL soon, etc).

I like how my league is in that we don't have a designated minors, which means we don't have to drop anyone on our team when they lose rookie status. For some teams they would have to either drop that player or drop another who has a lot of value.

Have u had any probs with regards to owners being forced to cut or trade off certain players?

We also use the MLB rookie rule, but you are not forced to "call up" your prospect until the end of the year. If you have a prospect that exhausts his rookie eligibilty you can wait until the end of the season and then you decide whether to add him to your mlb roster for next season or lose him.
