Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Obviously Howry and Stanton is a pretty sorry combo for SV. May the baseball gods smile on me and have Dempster implode.

Well, you got lucky in getting Pujols seeing how Art has his in-laws to thank in messing up his draft.
All I can say is your team is offensively better off than mine (but I say that being temporarily in the cellar for now). My OF is full of platooning scrubs and my team has a bunch of rookie talent, but at least I have pitching in my favor. All I need is Soriano, Atkins, and Laroche to pick things up. Having Oswalt and Hamels front your rotation is a boost, but obviously you'll be strapped for saves to say the least from where you sit.
Glad to get Pujols but considering the replacement level in this league it was a little risky. I know it seems like a no-brainer but in this league set-up I'm not sure it is. The idea of having Oz, Cole and CZam in an NL-only is pretty enticing I don't think I can afford to trade Hanley at this point.

I don't think it's a no-brainer either, seeing how Adrian Gonzalez should post decent numbers across the board and Carlos Lee should post another top-notch season, but for what it's worth, Oswalt is an improvement over Zito and so you compensate to some point there.
