Sounds like the left quad.

Some Cleveland bloggers were posting that VMart told the coaches he was OK, but then he looked very sore walking back to the dugout.

yeah I saw it. It looked bad, he was running hard to 1st base and then BAM he jsut came up gimpy, he couldnt make it to 1st. I would be worried if he was my catcher.

Ugh. It always seem like those end up being the worst injuries, the ones that happen when there's no contact, when somebody's just running. :-o

Martinez figures to miss a few games at least. Kelly Shoppach will replace him. If it's a DL-type situation, the Indians would call up Mike Rose.
